a famus Lan zi in Song country. He ask for meeting with king of Song,
and expect to receive an grant from the king. The king interview him
and let him make a performance in public.

This guy bind tow sticks with his leg, and walk and run, at same
time, throw and hold 7 swords between air and his hands. Everytime
he can receive the swords preciously and doesn't hurt himself. The
king looked very exciting and reward him gold and silk immediately.

After sometime, another Lanzi heard about it, then ask to interview
the king again, this time, the king is not interesting but angry.
the king said, last time when the person meet me, I have a good mood, as
though his skill is useless, I rewarded him gold and silk. Today,
this man must heard about it, because he is love money and think
I will reward him as well, this is annoyed.

Therefor, the king arrest the Lanzi and want to kill him at begining,
but he think his guilty is not worth to die, then throw the man
into prison one month.

A king deal things on his mood must has no principal on deal with
a country. If a man just think him "appreciate skilled people", that
is stupid either.

Long long time ago. There is a king promise to buy a swift
horse in 1000 LIANG gold. There a so many horse in the world,
but when he send people to look for in 3 years, they didn't
find one.


One servant of king look the king is not happy everyday, because
of the swift horse, then he volunted to seek the swift horse.
The king saw this person faithful and determined, look like
he know how to get the horse, then the king admit it.

The servant spent 3 months, at last he heard about a swift
horse, but when he came to the place, the horse was died.

As though, this is a pity, but the servant wasn't giv up.
he thought, as though the horse is died, but this prove
swift horse exists indeed, then he paid 500 LIAN gold to
the man and take the head of died horse go back.

The servant told the king he found the swift horse, the king
is very happy, and told to him, show me my swift horse quickly.
The servant unwrap the bag and show the head of died horse.
The head looked beautiful like a swift horse, but the smelling
angries the king, I told you a swift horse, but you give
me this died horse, what is the reason?

The servant said, your majesty, This swift horse was died, but
at least this is an evidence swift horse is exists. I spent
500 LIAN gold to buy a head of a died swift horse, this show
you are honest to spend real gold to buy a swift horse. When
people have swift horse heard about this, they are sure of you,
more and more people and swift horse are going to come to
our palace.

The king thinks about it and feels reasonable, then reward this
servant.

As expected, in the latter one year, several people and swift
horses come to king's palace, the king got his horse at last.

from one side to anther of a river. When the boat come into
the middle of river, suddenly, his sword slipped into water,
other people they shout to him to jump quickly to catch the
sword, but this man was not worry so much, just made a sign
on the boat, the place is where the sword slipped.

People ask him why, he said, the water is deep, I have made
a sign on boat, when we come to bank, the water is lower, at
that time it is easy to fetch my sword at the signed place.

People answer him, the boat is moving, but your sword is not
move with the boat, how can you fetch it here?

In a anceint time, one day a man read a book named "Huai Nan Zi". This
book says, you are able to hide your self, if get the leaf which mantis
using to catch cicada.

Then he comes to woods looking for the magic leafs. He put up his head
look carefully, fortunitely he see one mantis is hidding behind a leaf
to catching a cicada. When he want to pick-up the leaf, unfortunitely
the leaf drop down and mix together with others leaves.


He couldn't recognize which leaf is what he is looking for, therefore he
has to collect all leaves into several bags and carry them back home.

He put each leaf in front of his head and ask his wife whether she can
see him, at beginning his wife speak yes, but because he ask too many
times, his wife is tired, so she answer no.

This man is very happy and he go to market in the next morning and steal
some stuffs with the magic leaf at that moment,

But the poor guy is caught and send to "local concil". He tell all the
detail of this story to the officer when he was asked why. All the people
laugh alound very much, then the office release him back to home.

day, when he see the cows eating grass, he receive some inspiration,
then he play a tune for the cow.


The tune is pretty beatutiful, and move himself very much, but he
couldn't accept and understand why the cow no any feedback.

Qian Province's Donkey

There is a province in China named "Qian", no donky here ever. One day,
a trouble man import a donkey to here by boat, but he found the donkey
is useless here, and there is no place to keep it, then he put it under
the montain.

One day, a tiger saw the donkey, he think this guy is pretty tall and
huge, so he hide in the woods, and peer it remotely, after some time,
he crept carefully to the donkey, but he not sure indeed of the donkey.


Another day, the donkey shout a time, the tiger crazing very much, he
thought the donkey want to bite him, he was very scared. The tiger
watched the donkey serval days, he felt the donkey no skills and he was
famillar with donkey's shout.

The tiger came around the donkey, round and roud, but he didn't dare
attack donkey. The tiger walked around the donkey, touch donkey sometimes.
The donkey found offended and very angry, he thought should give tiger
a lesson the kicked tiger with his foot.

The tiger looked happy after that, he thought your skill just so-so, then
he shout to donkey and bite the throat of donky and killed ant ate it.


The donkey looked tall and big size and have a big shout, looked has
big skills. If he didn't show the limited skills (shout and kick) to
tiger, maybe the tiger didn't dare attack him, but at last, the donkey
got this poor fate...

ZengZi slaughters a Pig

Long Long time ago(about 2,500 years ago). On morning The wife of ZenZi woked up, dressing well and was going to market
to buy some stuffs.

Her young kid stopped her and asked to come together, but that is a long distance and
the kid was too young, couldn't walk long time, so she wouldn't do that.

But the kid made nosie, so she spoke, I know you like pork very much, If you are quiet
I will kill our pig and cook it for you. That is worked, then she went to market alone.


When she came back, She heard the pig was squealing, she know her husband was catching
the pig and prepare to slaugt it. She come quickly and ask her husband don't do that,
because that is just a joke to kids.

His husband told her, when you lie in front of your kids, because they are young, they
learn quickly, they learn from their parents, at they same time you are teaching they
lie to others. As though we are able to cheat them once a time, at last they will know
they were cheated, from then they are not going to believe us, so it is hard to educate
kids in our family.


The wife think It is reasonable of his husband's speaking, then she help her husband
to kill the pig then cook a beautiful poke for her kid.
